electric swan - by Tony Karp

Electric Swan
Electric Swans are very common in the northeast.
And that is all I can say here, except that we have fewer power outages.

electric skull moving through time - by Tony Karp

Moving Through Time
This is a temporal x-ray that shows what it looks like when you move through time.
This process reveals that time flows around you rather than passing through you.
For all of you who have wondered where the time goes, here is the answer.

enchanted forest - by Tony Karp

Enchanted Forest
This picture went through so many variations that I finally lost track.
It was originally infrared, then it was black and white, and then I made a mask for some special effect.
Then the mask was so nice that I decided to keep the mask and throw away the picture.
The mask has been filled in to create a yet a different picture.
Who knows where it will go next.

a bug's world - by Tony Karp

A Bug's World
I was really trying to shoot a picture of the bee.
But this is a classic bug, so I'm sticking with it.
If you can't get a bee, settle for an ant. And if you can't get an ant......never mind.

Giacometti shadow - by Tony Karp

Giacometti Shadow
Many people spend their days in meetings.
After the meetings are over, only the shadows remain.
This is the shadow of one of those meetings.

Mosaic man - by Tony Karp

Mosaic Man
I shot this with a lens made by the Arcobaleno Company.
It breaks the subject into separate planes of colored blocks.

orange and white forest - by Tony Karp

Orange and White Forest
First, you remove the trees.
When they are gone, other things fill in the gaps.
We're not out of the woods yet.

portrait of a red rogue - by Tony Karp

Red Rogue
It took a lot of cutting and pasting of little squares to put together a picture of someone.

Gaudi effect - by Tony Karp

The Gaudi Effect
A singer that Gaudi made famous is stretched to her limits.

Star Man - by Tony Karp

Star Man
Star Man is projected into the universe as part of the "big bang" theory of art.
